The Attic Trunk

Museum of Wayne County History, 21 Butternut St., Lyons.  The second exhibit to go up this year will be "The Attic Trunk," with a preview party on August 26.  Walk-in closets...cellar...attics.  Who hasn't discovered a whole 'nother world in the half-light of these spaces?  Steamer trunks, wooden chests and old suitcases.  Each vessel holds treasures from days gone by and in the dim light, one can be transported back in time looking through...the attic trunk.  This exhibit will run until November 20th.  The Museum will also have a Wayne County student photo exhibit, "Timeless" to go hand in hand with this exhibit.  The preview party for "Timeless" will be November 4 at 7 pm.  For more information call 315-946-4943 or check out the website, www.waynehistory.org.
