6 pm - 8 pm. Opening Reception, "All Froze O'er," A Centennial Celebration of the Last Full Freeze of Seneca Lake, February-March, 1912. This event is the result of a collaboration between the Geneva Historical Society and Stomping Grounds Art :: Books :: Gifts. It features photographic images of historic local winter events dating from the 1880s-1950s, with special attention given to the 1912 complete freeze of Seneca Lake (one of only four complete freezes in recorded history.) Wine tastings from Anthony Road. Chocolate tastings from CaryMo Chocolates. A portion of proceeds to benefit the Geneva Historical Society. This exhibit runs through March 3rd.
