Wayne County Council for the Arts announces photo contest

Wayne County Council for the Arts is pleased to present the Third Annual Images of Wayne County, NY Photo Exhibit/Contest.  The theme for 2010  is "The Uniqueness of Wayne County."

All photos must be taken within Wayne County between May 1st and September 30th, 2010.  There are two categories:  Youth - 15 years or under and Adults - 16 years or older.  The entry fee is $5.00 with a limitation of three (3) photos per person.  All entries and photos must be delivered to Wayne County Council for the Arts between 1:00 and 4:00 pm, Friday, October 1st or Saturday, October 2nd, 2010.  The photographer will retain copyright, however, Wayne Arts retains the right to publish any or all photos submitted.  Credit will be given to the photographer.

An entry form along with additional information regarding submission of each photo can be found on our website or may be picked up at Wayne Arts.

This exhibit will be on display from October 7th through the 29th.  The public is invited to an opening reception to be held on Friday, October 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm to announce ribbon winners.
